my friend is a tailor and has a lot of different types of material in her shop and access to heaps more. Her english is excellent so if you email her she will be able to let you know if it is possible to get what you want in bali. her email is alusasri@yahoo.com
My partner had a suit and extra trousers made and when I chose the material i noticed a lot of tweed type stuff that would be suitable for what you describe.
I have a louise epstein that doesnt fit me any more !!grrrrrr
