We have suffered a huge tragedy in our family, and its pushed all of us to our limits. My mum has spent the last 15 weeks away in the city caring for my brother who was involved in a hit and run accident. She has decided she needs a break, and has booked a holiday to bali for the sixth time now. Im really happy for her, because she deserves this holiday more than anything. She is going in under 11 weeks.
Last time we were there i had riding jackets and vests made at Janoko Tailors. They did a fantastic job! But i was kicking myself for never getting a tweed riding jacket made, they cost around $500 to buy in aus. Then when mum told me she was going back, i decided to get that tweed jacket made!!
Looking at the local spotlight store, phoning the city, then interstate, then even overseas, i have had no luck whatsoever in finding the appropriate tweed fabric that is used for hacking jackets! Not even close! God knows where they get it from, but im having serious trouble.
Im wondering if anyone would know in there past travels to janoko, or any tailor for that matter, if you came across any tweed fabrics? I was hoping to buy the fabric for mum to take over, but it looks like its not going to be possible! So i was wondering if the fabric could be brought over there instead?
