Agree on Sanur Hotels, Nusa Dua and Kuta hotels. But I'm not a fan of the Patra Pool. Just to big and square but the Bar is great.
Also I found the Ramada to be old and dirty and the Bar never had a barman at it. The punge pools were way to hot and way to cold.
My fav pool is the Le Meridian plus some of the pools up in Ubud are great, like the Maya's 2 pools! But you expect that of any 5 star property.
The pools at the Mandira and the Mercure offer a great view as they are both elevated and over look the beach.
But if its a pool you are really after, just go to Waterbom. Their website is showing a brand new slide called the Boomerang and there are only 4 of them in the world.
