Sanur - Puri and Griya Santrian , Mercure , Sanur Beach
Tuban - Santika, Ramada Bintang, Patra Jasa,
Kuta - Hard Rock is amazing , Discovery ( but children by the score ), Paradiso, Bounty/Barong if you're a party animal , Ramayana
Legian - Padma, Jayakarta, Melasti
Nusa Dua - just about all of them have pools to die for - Sheraton Laguna, Hilton etc
Jimbaran Bay - Ritz-Carlton, Intercontinental
I reckon of all the ones I have seen, the Padma tops the list :-) very hard to beat - and maybe Ramada Bintang close behind
Hmmmmmm re 'Foreigners' ??? Plenty of Europeans in Sanur but they add some lively colour to the place, plus the topless sunbathing might be just the thing for a 40+ man travelling alone, LOL !!!
