yeah we love being so central and in the mist of it all. it was a shame breaky was so bad but the other meals we had at acapulco were really good, just haven't gotten to those yet in the jbrs.
the white rose hotel is another good one we stayed at, new years 04/05. its just down the lane to the right of the memorial site, of jl legian. i prefer it to the lph as its a bit more traditional balinese style and it has a great pool (no pool bar though, but bar by the pool). we just love staying at different hotels to mix up the experience a bit.
