I have stayed at the Bintang before and found them a great resort.
Staff are helpful and friendly and i am not a 20 year old good looking female. There is more to life than wire coat hangers, soap and towels. Maybe it was your attitude that carried through to the staff. Everything you complained about seemed quite small and petty. Bali is holiday time - go with the flow.
