Well it's been 2 weeks since I've arrived from paradise and now have finally settled back in to reality. Over the last three months which is how long I've been apart of this great forum I've read many great, informed and sometimes funny jbr's. Many are filled with places you should eat or shop at. They are filled with hotel choices and tourist must do's and things to avoid , all essential for people going to Bali for the first time or for people who have not been in a while, my jbr will be more of a personal confession.

I went to Bali because I was running away from many things I should have but couldn't face up to. So I chose Bali for mainly it's distance from home, the other side of the world is as good as anywhere else to run and hide.
I also went to look for something, what that was at the time I couldn't tell you because I didn't know. When I arrived it was as I imagined, beatiful. The landscape of such a place as Bali sang to me in such a way as I did not expect and I soon fell into such a relaxed state of mind that I began to see clearly for time in a very long time.

I visited the whole island from volcano's to rice fields from mountain to waterfalls from sun up to sun down all in the hope of enlightment. It was though the people of that island I now love that gave me what I searched for.
Their attitude towards the things around them such as nature and other people was lesson I needed to learn. I also realized that you need not be religous to be spiritual, and as they would always tell me every day is a school day.

I am now back home and back at work and the problems that plagued me or now no more or just not that devestating as I once thougt.
So for those who are heading towards Bali for your tenth time or for those of you who are going for your first time be prepared for at worse you will have a great vacation or maybe like me your life will be forever changed. Thanks to Bali and all on this forum.
