Am I ever anxious to read your future JBR. I like your wit. The quad tour is mostly on flat ground. Most of the trip is on the same trails that scooters or even cars use to get to the fields and connoting mountain villages. As a crusty ole racer myself, the practice track was far more challenging than the actual tour. Trust me, you won't have a problem driving or keeping up. The guides will keep your hubby from leaving you in his dust. If you are not comfortable with driving, just ride along with your hubby. He would not be able to go much faster without you, any ways. Don't be afraid to stop when ever you want to take pictures or video. The time frame is really up to you. The combo tour starts early enough in the morning, that you have plenty of time to ride quads, eat, relax, and travel to the WWR.
As for the WWR, it was exciting but totally safe. The river is not that deep or wide. That is what makes if faster water. No one fell out of the boats. Even if they had, they would have been fine. The guides are very knowledgeable of the river and how to handle the rafts. The only kind of person who could drown on that rafting is the kind who could drown in their own bath tub. If he has lived this long, taking baths, tell him I think he will do fine. You will surely enjoy the combo tour.
