Hi Steve
Thanks for your great reports. Just have a question about the quad bikes...my husband is a bit of a 'harry hot nuts' when it comes to anything with a motor (ex go-kart racer), so will be quite comfortable (and probably OVER confident) on a quad bike. However, I fear death by motorised misadventure (and I don't want my teenage children getting there hands on any $50,000 insurance - they'll just squander it). Although I would love to ride a bike on my own, I feel I'd just slow the tour down (could take 4.0 hrs instead of 2.0) and everyone would get p**ssed off with me. Would you advise a tandem ride with Mr Crusty Demon, or ride alone and get abandoned in the forest to be eaten by monkeys, bird spiders and leeches because I'm too cautious?? Alternatively, I guess we could do as you did and swap, but then I'm not as confident as a 9 y.o. boy - are there any nice flat bits where I wouldn't roll it over or flip it backwards? Did Nathan's wife have a drive?

Strangely enough, my husband is more concerned about the WWR. He's not a big fan of water, and also hates to not be the one in control of a vessel or vehicle. I have already been rafting on the Ayung (without him), and would like to try the Talaga Waja, so hopefully it's not too rough. We're there any spots anyone fell out, or where you thought you were going to drown??
