You can walk right up the the airport from the beach. Have done this everytrip as it gives really good views of the airport. Quite a few people do it and you can get photos like this: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/625219/L/
You wont get any trouble from the authorities at all. Just a friendly wave as they drive past. As long as you dont jump fences etc there is no troubles. Lots of locals fish there aswell.
