to stay home.
At least, I assume this since only one adult is going to the Gold Coast.
You can emulate the Gold Coast experience relatively cheaply at home.
First of all, get a few fish from the market and let them rot in your bathroom for a few weeks. Then sit in the tub and stick yourself with needles in as many places as possible as quickly as you can to experience what it's like swimming with stingers.
Then spend the afternoon at a nursing home and a rememedial school to experience authentic interaction with Gold Coast locals.
At night, go down to your local fish and chip shop and stare at the neon light for a couple of hours and then either go to a titty bar or look at a porno mag with loud, bad music playing to experience all the Gold Coast has to offer for nightlife.
But what trip to the GC would be complete without a trip to the casino? So before bed, gather together as many depressed people as you can find and take them home to your toilet. Have them ring bells and flick the lights on and off as you flush note after note down the bowl.
Then drink yourself to sleep and wake up with a hangover and the knowledge that you have learned a valuable lesson.
