And let's also get Australia to waive its visa fees and prohibitive conditions for Indonesian tourists who want to come here. A mutual agreement like that is better than giving aid to those who need it and then asking for stuff in return.
There will be conditions attached to the aid given anyway, I'm sure. Just not sure if and when we'll hear what they are. Australian companies have been sucking the wealth out of Indonesia for decades. That's only one reason why Australia should give generously.
There's very little that the Indonesian Government/military has done that the Australian Government didn't either support or keep silent about (going back fifty years, at least). They only make noises about the bad stuff when too many people find out about it.
