Sat. connections

Thank you for all your answers. Jahat, can you inform me better about Sat. connection ? Does it mean i can go to an internet cafe and get connected whenever I want to (and does it work properly ?). And at what speed ? And what are the costs ? I know it is quite absurd to wish to have such things in a place like Bali, but the only way i could go there for a long period is if i can work and earn some money... Thanks
