What people probably people have forgotten here is that. There religious majority in Indonesia is 87%. Among this, there are sizeable number of religious extremists in Indonesia that want to see the sharia law to be implemented in Indonesia. There are so many boarding schools those have brainwashed children since early age, to carry their vision.
Some parties, politicians will need their support. It is entirely different case with other countries in Asia.
The problem here for these sorts of group never rest, but keep Moving forward. Sharia Law has been implemented in Aceh, special province of Indonesia. Do they stop there???
Just imagine what happen to civil partnership, LGBT which are coming from catchment areas of tourism. While in their own countries they are legally protected to live together, it might not be the case when they travel to Indonesia. The Hotels might ask them to produce a marriage certificate fear of helping to commit crime.
