When we first started going to Bali our teenage daughters were always amused at the way the stallholders would pick up on their names as they called to each other to come look at something for sale. The stallholders would start calling the girls over using their names, like they already knew them. Well, for a joke while going through Poppies one day they chose different names for themselves and used them while shopping, just for that one afternoon. Well, two years later going through the same street a stallholder calls out to them using those fake names and calls them over to the stall. Amazing memory for faces!
