UK went through a bad period, just as most high population countries have.
It is easier to manage some 25 million on a huge but isolated land mass than it is on a small island of 66 million with highly infected close neighbours.
The response by the UK Government is to be applauded, and the huge number of administered vaccinations will stand them in good stead going forward.
Let's hope that the Australian Government can start to actually deliver on promises made regarding vax roll outs.
By now including 50s up into the program there has been a boost in numbers, but the overall performance has been much criticised with some justification.
Even some people working in exposed hotel quarantine sites are not fully vaccinated after several months.
Our return to some sort of normality, including International travel depends heavily on the efficiency of vaccine roll outs.
There is no other practical way to recover.
