I have done several cooking classes in Bali,and have enjoyed Anika's the best. The morning visit to the market is excellent with chef/guide explaining the ingredients and then also offering the name of substitute in your country if you can't get it at home. Arriving at the hotel a small breakfast is provided. The class is handson and is fun and enjoyable. The prepared meals are then enjoyed by the class. A free cookbook is provded at the end of the day. There is the original Anika cooking class at The Anika Hotel, and now also one at Semenyak, i've been to both. Pickup and drop off from your hotel. If regestering for the class via their website there is a big discount. Nice aprons also for sale. Will be doing again in June.
