compare flight times of the main 3 low cost and arrival times in Bali. AA have the best times followed by jetstar with Tiger/virgin the worst.
If late arrival and or early departure doest bother you then Tiger looks the cheapest until the add ons.
AA from Perth has the better flight times in my opinion as I am over arriving at a hotel close to midnight and getting up at 4am to get ready to fly home.
Garuda has some very reasonable fares that compare with AA all in priced fares.
I now pay the extra for AA all in fares,no add ons best seat selections meals and luggage included priority boarding priority luggage and best of all flexible tickets that allow 2 change of date/time for those " Bali volcano moments" :)
So given your first and last days could be lost to flight times and its difficult to mix and match airline one way flights to and from Bali are they really cheaper when your first days hotel cost and half your last days cost could be dead money.
