Son and I did a circumference ride in 2010. I have my Australian motorbike licence and got it noted on an International Driving Licence issued by the RACV in Australia. Son went with a local and got a tourist motorbike licence for 30 days , I think he had to take his passport and 1 or 2 passport size photos with him... paid extra of course for it!! We got cover through Covermore who at the time covered us because I had a IDL with Aussie motorbike licence noted on it, and son had a motor bike licence 'issued in the country he was riding'. Wasn't going to do with without insurance cover! It was an easy ride as in built up areas traffic was slow and in the rural areas you had to watch for chooks, dogs, kids and rice on the roads, so average speed was about 50=60 kph. It was an incredible experience,
