The VOA and Visa Exemption are two separate things.
You have to pay for a VOA and it can be extended once.
A Visa Exemption is free and cannot be extended. Some ASEAN visitors to Indonesia get a 15 day Visa Exemption.
From about 2.15 pm yesterday, Australians can get a 30 day Visa Exemption.
