I agree with bloodyron. If you have expensive taste - well it is catered for in Bali. Your Bali holiday will cost you what you want. When i look at accom on the website it is in Aus$. My fave rest's prices have gone up but the prices are in Rup's. No matter where you are prices go up. I still feel like a millionaire when in Bali. I love the people and the place. In the "old" days the Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur had there food menu in US$ never ate there again. It may have changed. You don't need alot of money to have a nice holiday. I always shop in the local supermarkets (not big dept stores) and I love the early morning markets to get yummy tropical fruit. I also find with brekky included with the accom i fill up and that cuts down on lunch and/or dinner. Bintang is still cheap but if you are into spirit's bring your duty free.
