Stayed here many times over the past 10 years, usually for a month at a time. Best rooms are the ocean front bungalows. Prices at Garpu (hotel restaurant) have come down over the years and the portions are a reasonable size. Good buffet breakfast. Pool area overlooks the ocean and is a beautiful view. The staff are great, with some being there since it opened about 20 years ago. Loka one of the pool guys is great as are the older restaurant staff. Depending on traffic it should take about an hour and a half to 2 hours to get there. Rp350-400,000. Rama is a little way from the main Candidasa drag but a pleasant 15-20 minute walk or Rp20-25,000 in a car one way. Hope you have a great time.
