I was greeted by a 1 metre long monitor lizard on my kitchen floor yesterday afternoon, both of us rather startled at each others presence. The better looking of us ran out the kitchen door and into the rice fields. That makes the tally for March 1 dead cat, 1 snake and a lizard.
