Actually I have been racking my brains (which didn't take long due to the lack of volume found there) to come up with something in particular. Nothing stands out as all of the nights do if that makes sense?

From a long hot balmy day moving into a short twilight, bats appear, lights start twinkling on, time to wander off from Sammy & Susie's or equivalent to merge into the Jalans that make up Kuta/Legian proper. Finding a restaurant of choice or choosing a new one. Ordering a small cold Bintang in Bahasa and wondering why the waiter is walking toward me with a lightly grilled tractor muffler.

Laughing at the menu typos. Returning the tractor muffler and re-ordering a small cold Bintang in English this time.Ordering what ever I want on the menu as I don't have to look at the price.

Explaining to the waiter that I need another Bintang as that one evaporated due to the heat.

Savouring the meal with partner and great friends. Ordering more Bintangs.

Asking for the bill, disputing the tractor muffler and number of Bintangs they are charging for.

Wandering toward our digs, maybe stopping off for a quick one. Assembling outside and having a duty free. Putting out the cat, saying "good night Irene" getting and elbow because the partner is not Irene.

Snoring in unison with the che chak squarking outside the window and awaking the next morning blaming the pillow for my head ache.

Ah Bali I miss you Ianz
