No problem with taxis driving up and down Poppies1,delivery trucks, mini buses even a fire engine.
Drivers entering or leaving Poppies1 work together and give way to oncoming traffic...no problem.
Taxis can return the way they entered or proceed to exit at Jl Legian which is very narrow...they are better off entering and exiting Poppies1 via Jl Pantai...the beach end near Maccas.
I have only ever had 1 very inexperienced airport taxi driver baulk at driving up Poppies1 but I encouraged him and all was good.
With the airport taxi drivers you pay up front, so demand to be dropped at hotel first before paying.
The best way is to get a driver to pick them up at the airport that way you pay the driver when you arrive at the hotel...but dont forget to pay a bit extra for him driving in and waiting for you.
