I used to try and purchase a mobile when I went to Bali, but for the last three times I have been is just go into a shop that sells sim cards and they will fit a bali one to suit your own phone. I use 7-11 stores and the have cut down sims to suit my apple phone and fitted them. you can also buy credit and they will load it for you
