Still ok...stayed there quite a while ago, opposite Kuta Beach, major developements and shopping complexes all around the area now, beach front area quite busy.
You should not have any problems there but from memory beds were very hard.
Other hotels in similar position that I would recommend are Kuta Seaview or Satriya Cottages in Poppies 2.
