Hello, I am looking for some help to resolve a Sanur v Legian stalemate. We are a family of 4 (2 kids aged 8 and 7) and are spending 5 days in a villa in Ubud and then 5 nights in a villa in Canggu.
The last 4 days we wanted to be closer to shopping/restaurants but at the same time wanted to give the kids a chance to have a bigger resort pool and chance to play with other kids.
Obviously Bali Dynasty or Hard Rock Hotel ticks all the boxes but they are outside of our price range (i.e. $175AUD or under).
We like the look of two hotels. The Casa Padma in Legian for large rooms and close to shopping and restaurants (plus we can always go to Waterbom or pay to go to Hard Rock Pools). The other option is the Sanur Paradise Plaza Suites which seem to have a great pool, waterslide and a kids club, but far away from shops and restaurants. Any suggestions or experiences at these or other hotels would be appreciated.
