We have stayed at Ubud City Hotel a few times. This establishment has 8 rooms; twins and doubles; fan and a/con. It is very centrally located on Monkey Forest Road. Connie, an American, and her staff are just delightful and helpful. Breakfast is included and although not a large choice it is very tasty and fresh. There is a pool. We found the beds comfy and lighting good for reading if required. Would not hesitate to recommend. If you google you will find some sites which may be helpful. We used Booking.com originally but now book direct with Connie. Other options could be Sania's House or Igna Bungalows. All very well located; near eateries, the monkey forest, the markets, the Palace etc.
