Woke to an overcast day, had our breakfast and decided to go for a walk around Seminyak. I suggested to take our umbrellas but hubby said no it will be ok it only rains for a short time. Found Cafe Mokka and had a real coffee which was nice. Next minute the heavens opened and it was so heavy we waited to see if it lightened but no we had to make a move. Then I suggested we go shopping in Discovery Mall. So caught a Taxi a cost of 50,000 rp. The roads were flooded. Every man and their dog were there of course. Went into Centro and bought some patchwork cushions for 79,000rp ea. Place mats 39,000rp ea and small table runner for 109,000. I was happy.
On our way home we went to Bintang to get supplies, the water was a foot deep in some places the rain just did not stop.
Went out to Sisterfields for dinner found by accident hubby nearly got run over he was that excited he found it. Recommended by someone on the forum. Great place but we forgot our glasses as we are in our 50's the waiter had to read the menu for us. We both had burgers one pulled pork 80,000 and the other hamburger 90,000 ++. All in all a great day walking in the rain just like we we 10 again. Till tomorrow :)
