This is one of several reasons my Bali visits are now less frequent than they were, with other Asian locations now being on our radar. The falling Australian dollar makes the US$35 x 2 for a couple another expense on an already increasingly expensive Bali.
But do the maths - 876,748 Australians visiting the archipelago, that's income of US$30 million the Indonesian government will forgo by giving you and me free entry
Would be good to see - but I can't see the Government waiving that volume of income albeit small on the overall scheme of things
