I don't get all the wailing and gnashing of teeth over this whole situation.
A group of folks decided they would try and profit by illegally carrying drugs from Bali to Australia. In doing so the knowingly risked their freedom and lives (and the lives of all those who would be negatively impacted by consuming those drugs or affected by the actions of those who consumed said drugs) in return for financial gain.
They were unsuccessful and got caught...subsequently they have been punished in accordance with the law. How is that anyone's fault except their own?
