A local sim I use Telekomsel will cost you 50 000 Rp, $5 and has 50 min talk time to Austalia included as well as local calls and SMEs both local and overseas it is valid for 10 days you can recharge and that extends the validity. Lots of shops selling phone cards around and the seller will set it up for you.
