I have stayed t Lembongan cliff villas, they are very nice the stairs can be a bit of a killer so if that bothers you request a room close to reception. We had the villa up behind the restaurant and reception and the views were so lovely looking out over the bay. I think we only paid $60 a nights that was in 2012. Great staff and such pretty gardens. Also stayed at coconuts again ask for room close to reception as very steep stairs if you are up the top. We paid $100 per night in July 2013 sitting in the restaurant each morning for breaks and looking out over the bay was just so tranquil. Last year we stayed at secret point huts on cengian Island which is a motor bike ride over a suspension bridge. Small resort, the staff are so friendly the rooms are basic and very clean, again the view looks out to a great surfing point we paid $45 per night. We then stayed at the sadeg on mushroom bay in a garden room we paid $50 per night they were slowly doing each room up and I believe it has now been completed. This is my 1st choice and can't wait to get back there. This resort is built on the cliff over looking the beach it's not steep and you can walk along the beach to many restaurants and Warungs. Have a look at their website. We caught marlin cruises from Sanur and they arrive at mushroom bay and its about 100 meters to the resort. Unless you stay at sandy bay resort you will need to get transport there which is only approx 15 min from mushroom bay. You can hire motor bikes for about $8 per day, or hire a local to get you there on their bike and pick you up when the wedding finishes . Try and stay at least 3 nights and enjoy the peaceful pace of the island. Hope this info helps any questions feel free to ask. I have left email open. We like to stay 6 nights on Lembongan.
