It is well documented that many hotels use outdated information and photos to lure people in on T.A. Trip Advisor has also been subject to investigation because of false reviews being posted by the hotels themselves. TA is still useful if you can filter their information but I think this forum still serves a purpose if you can ignore some of the more trivial sniping that goes on from time to time.
