I asked a little while ago about learning more Indonesian. I has lIstened to the free podcasts and wanted to know about the paid course. I ended up buying a book, but I didn't get along well with it. It seems that school textbooks don't have a section with answers for the exercises now. Also too much stuff about culture and waste space of large glossy pictures. I discussed it with a friend who speaks more than me (he did it at university) and he told me about this book, though he didn't know too much about it.
I took a punt and bought it from iTunes. I think it was $24.95. It is a book with listening exercises built into the ebook. I am only on the first chapter, but I think it is excellent. I am already learning some new vocabulary.
It is called Complete Indonesian (enhanced edition) by Eva Nyimas and Christopher Byrnes. Maybe this will help someone else.
