Had an interesting experience with a money changer in Garlic Lane (second one on the right after the first gang as you come from Jalan Melasti). I don't know how he did it BUT.... I was changing $AUD100. He counted 20 notes (50,00 rps). Then I counted them, then he said he would count them again. I said 'not necessary, I've counted them' but he insisted. So I said 'if you count again I count again'. His hands were above the table when he supposedly counted 20 notes. However, when I counted them there were only 14. When I asked for the other 6 notes he giggled. Fortunately my $AUD 100 was still on the counter so I took it back and left. I still don't know how he did it. I was watching his hands the whole time. I guess that's how magicians work. Lesson learnt always be the last one to do the count.
