Airline...Garuda, can't complain, only had to go via sydney instead of briisy, at there cost..
hotel...Sinar bali....just a cheapie, good location, but not really for kids, too small..
Bali was extremely quiet, where thats because of the time of year, probably, haven't seen it like that since the bombing.
Did not do any tours this time, just relaxed, went to beach, garbage minimal. ...swam in hotel pool, was there for nypi day...only 8 guests at hotel, but we managed to have fun...and got sunburned...and had a few cocktails with and without ice..lol
restaurants. ...mostly ate in jl padma ultara. ...crazy cooks café. .good coffee and meals
..bella vista across from garden view. ...great food nicely presented and great juice. ..
mozzarella by the sea...good meals but getting a bit pricy. ...nikisoma for sunset cocktails, great range...my favorite. .kiss me ketut and coffee martini
sangria grill. .not bad....pearl restaurant did not disappoint, cost us $50ea with one cocktail entree,main and shared dessert. ..well worth the visit,it was full so book, its in 66..
went to mama's german restaurant. ..was ok...expensive for what u got...on jl legian
Warong murieh in 66....great bali food, cheap...average meal $3
greek restaurant on legian st near bintang really nice..happyhour til 8pm...
shopping...matahari picked up brooks runners 70%off..$70....
shopping in markets most things they just say $5 t shirts, dresses (short)maxi $6-$8
sarongs... $2.50 at sarong warehouse in 66....but i found myself buying on the beach for $5 to help them out....kids shorts $3
Dentist.... bali 911 at galleria, clean $60...went with friend to denpasar 911..she git 5 root canals....building up of teeth,bridge with ten teeth, i think around $5000...she was happy
motorbikes. ....seen a man at hotel,80 yr old...foot degloved....very bad...i ride in bali, just be careful....
Anyway had a great time...will return in july....by all, hope this helps in some small way...
