I was quite taken aback the first time I got a call at my hotel room more than 10 years ago). I hadn't filled in any forms and the young woman was very persistent and used the interesting technique of implying I was very stupid to be turning down free accommodation etc.
I must admit to being a bit mischevious and filling out a form the day I leave so the young Balinese person will get the commission and I don't have to field the call.
Because we are regular visitors, I did actually wonder if the scheme would be of any value to us, but have been warned off as it is very hard to get a match between when you want to visit and what is available. And we don't want to go anywhere else.
