I remember the early days of the forum and the friendly exchange of experiences. I learned a lot from JBRs and we would note down restaurants to try. We were regulars at S and S and after sunset a group would head away for a meal. I have found things changed over the years and perhaps people are more cautious about being friendly to strangers. We return to Bali each year, but tend to mix less. Perhaps that is simply getting older.
