Typically the restaurants are pretty crappy, but i have recently been to Bawang Merah, which is on the top end, almost next to the airport. the food is excellent by Jimbaran standards, and the service was also good. the owners seem to know what they are doing, and they dont serve the 'cooked til its dead' kangkung, they dont butterfly the fish, and their prices are reasonable.
It's the only restaurant in Jimbaran that i would willingly return to.
