I recently travelled to Bali on Garuda with a one way ticket, my son-in-law had been admitted to hospital and I was unsure of when I would be returning. Garuda check in at Perth Airport were fine with this, I had to sign a disclaimer to the fact that I had just a one way ticket and absolving them of any responsibility for me and having to fly me back at their expense. No questions asked at Denpasar end either.
