I discovered if I top mine up in small multiples before I leave each one extends by 1 month. So I do say 8 x 20,000 and that gives me an extended 8 months plus credit for when I return. It saves asking anyone to top it up for you. Yes it costs extra (maybe $2 as they charge for each top up) but it keeps the number alive. I then top up when I arrive and this extends it even further.
