Not much point in being scared of dying in Bali from a pre existing health complaint or old age.
That's going to happen wherever you are.
Warnings or reminders about accidents and incidents involving motor bikes, surfing/snorkelling, pool mishaps, drunken behaviour or general carelessness are always valid.
However it can be a fine line between serious injury (not recorded as death) and death itself.
Whether fatality or serious injury, no harm in reminding people that the statistics in Bali are always higher than they need to be.
