They went in 19 years ago I think. Very shortly after that they had deteriorated to the point that they are today. Dire! The traffic is horrendous. It is built up for miles around. But Ubud IS still Ubud. Underneath all that, it is still Ubud. And that is why I love it. Not much has changed in 18 months since I was last there.
I was there,till Saturday night and I wish I was,still there.
