Taxis in any country are well known for trying to scam passengers one way or another though I have never heard any of them in Bali constantly talking about scamming passengers as they approach the desk after all how do they know who is or isn't a first time visitor?, THERE IS NO SCAM IT IS FIXED PRICE as you well know.
