Hi,
I arrived on 10th Feb. There has been a bit of rain, but last night was the only time I got wet. Mostly if it has rained it has been for a while in the late afternoon. Last,Saturday was apparently a mini cyclone in Ubud. Lights out for hours. Apparently a lot of trees down. But the storm,only lasted about 15 minutes.
Last night we were out at Ibu Rai having an early dinner and the rain came down. Fairly torrential. Then it went to normal shower, so we slip-slided down the Monkey Forest Road, on the road, in the dark, in the rain.,But AFTER THAT it was torrential with thunder and lightning for a very long time. Our hotel driver was coming back to Ubud from the airport and apparently roads were flooded.
But apart from getting a bit damp yesterday evening, any rain hasn't affected us. One morning we stayed in the room for a couple of hours till it was over, a couple of other times we swam while it rained a little. Not disappointing at ALL.
