is that the batteries, which work the combination lock, run out and have to be replaced. Management, their maintenance staff actually then need to get in to the safe. I have had this happen and it is done while I am there. At least 3 times I have had to have my safe opened and this is always in my presence. One time I had to sign a book giving permission to open the safe. One type of safe is very easy to stuff up when initially entering the code. Also I think that like ATM's you are only allowed so many goes at entering the numbers. It is very easy to make a mistake and as others have said with more than 1 person using the safe, even more so.
