Gosh I have some support. I really do value Rhonda's postssss and as I say I did venture back and just can't see that Kuta has any value on all the levels-it reminds me of the bad parts of the Gold coast esp with schoolies and thump thump music, prostitutes, hassling sellers and violence and of course the rivers of Bintang. I will however, go early one am and look for the charm as described by Rhon.
Sanur on the last 2 occasions was as described a really nice change in pace and some great eating places as is my new fav Ubud.
