Have been staying there on/off about 20 years! Lately just for few days once or twice a year, firstly let me say they are improving it with upgrading rooms, my latest visit was August last year when all the cottages booked and I ended up in a ground floor room, very noisy from room above. I guess value for money it's ok, beautiful gardens and in an ideal location.
